I quit VCL, i will be closing DA very soon.

I have quit VCL and will be quitting DA soon due to theft of my character Dice which after contact with the artist, the picture would not be taken offline and according to regulations it is somehow allowed to be stolen.

In my own opinion, this is fucking pathetic. I am thinking of taking everything i have across the internet offline, and setting up my website with everything i have for the certain few people i give passwords to to access the site with as a red alert last straw security measure, that and frankly i dont think the thiefs deserve to look at my work. I will remain on FA but if the thieves strike again, thats it im throwing in the big goodbye.

*whimpers* your character is copyright to you, its not like all you can do is ask, you can actually make a alwsuit about it and I dont see much of a way for him to win. But thats alot of work, but I hate seeing people leave because of theft. ~.=.~

how is that? Anything posted to DeviantArt according to the policy is copyright to you, they did not have your consent and refuse to comply. Was this not your character in the first place? (for example you draw Renamon like characters, that wouldnt be unless you changed it to your own, but art is still yours)

So it seems, [link] < the once very well known to DA, neogeen. Gone because of a theft nobody felt like stopping due to the regulations of DA being wriggled through.

No worries, when i make my website (in the future) passworded only to access by my friends. Everyone i know as friend on DA, FA, MSN Messenger and more closer friends i know will be given the password, so to the peeps of DA> you will all not lose me at all. Im just limiting everything i have to the people i trust.
